G5 Portrait & Colour study
First, landscapes were developed using oil pastel techniques.
Landscape study included Background, Middle ground & Foreground.
Self portraits were added in the foreground to complete the work.
Visible Thinking routine, 4C's were used to reflect on this project. Connection-Challenge-Concepts-Changes
Taking inspiration from ted Harrison's whimsical Canadian landscape paintings, students altered colour and shapes of their landscapes.
Landscapes were chosen from person connections with a place they have experienced first-hand.
